AMENDMENTS (for this year)
Area 4 Agency on Aging held a public hearing on January 17th, 2008 to receive input from community members on two items: 1) Amendments to the 2007-08 Area Plan, and 2) a proposed increase to the congregate nutrition reimbursement rate for meals served.
Both items were approved by the Advisory Council. The Governing Board will vote on each item at their February 8th meeting.
THE UPDATE (for next year)
A4AA held a Special Meeting on February 26th, 2008 at the Elk Grove Senior Center to discuss expected activities and expected funding levels for the 2008-09 fiscal year. The potential impact of state budget cuts on A4AA-funded services were discussed.
