On January 4, 2010, Area 4 Agency on Aging will issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) for provision of services for persons 60 years of age and older who reside in Nevada, Placer, Sacramento, Sierra, Sutter, Yolo and Yuba counties.  Proposals will be due February 5, 2009.  The RFP will cover the following services in the counties and amounts indicated:

 

Title III-B Supportive Services

  • Information and Assistance:  Placer ($60,000),  Sacramento ($85,000),  Yolo ($34,600),
  • Sierra ($10,500), Sutter/Yuba ($41,400)
  • Transportation:  Nevada ($53,600),  Placer ($62,000),  Sacramento ($190,750),
  • Sierra ($3,975), Yolo ($47,250)
  • Health Services:  Nevada ($54,200)
  • Mental Health Services:  Sacramento ($154,000), Yolo ($31,900)
  • Legal Services:  Nevada/Placer/Sierra ($66,000), Sacramento ($95,000),

  • In-Home Services:  Placer ($72,000), Sacramento  ($175,000)

  • First year funding under this RFP is for the period July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2011.  Funding is also expected to be available for fiscal years 2011/12 and 2012/13.  To be eligible for funding, an organization must be a public agency, an incorporated nonprofit, or an incorporated for-profit organization.  The Bidders’ Conference will be held on January 14, 2010.
