Mission

HelpLine provides free, accurate, complete and useful information in a timely fashion. It is our goal to assist people with solving problems and answering their questions in a friendly and helpful manner. HelpLine serves over 4500 callers a year. Nearly three-quarters of the calls are from seniors or the families or caregivers of seniors.

Connects people to services such as:

  • Health care and in-home support services
  • Support groups and community programs
  • Emergency shelters
  • Housing and assisted living facilities
  • Emergency Assistance
  • Lawyer Referral Service
  • and more.

Making Appointments for one-on-one assistance with:

  • HICAP counselors, who provide information on Medicare and Medicare Part D
  • AARP Mature Driving class (55 Alive)
  • AARP Tax Aide income tax assistance
  • Homeowners and Renters Assistance, which provides rebates to qualifying low-income taxpayers
  • Long Term Care events
  • Low-cost Blood Test Appointments for the Health Fair

Hours

Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
